Our Story
How we met?
Well one day after work, Mummy, Leah & I went to meet a friend at Opa! It's funny really, because we hardly spoke to each other! There was of course the "exchange of looks" :-) But in fact Dimitri spent most of the night talking to my mom... I found this a little strange but didn't think too much about it. (I later found out that he was trying to work up the confidence to ask my mom to take me on a date!!) (Smile)... Later on that night when we were about to leave, my sister Leah - who actually helped Dimitri earlier in the evening with a computer problem - exchanged contact info with him and gave him MY contact info too! (the little snicker) (giggle)
Dimitri then seized this opportunity to turn this into an exchange of contacts between US! Stating that it would only be fair for me to have his contact info too! lol...
A few days later he sent me a text... To which I Blushed uncontrollably, settled myself and then responded... We exchanged a few calls and text messages... To & Fro they went... We finally went on our first "casual date" and there was clearly a special connection between us... A few weeks later we went on a "special date" and realised that it wasn't just a slight attraction... We kept in touch and later went on a few more dates... Then there was the meeting of his family! Awesome! I think Dimitri has a great family! I'll say no more on this point as I think that most of you readers (and particularly my close friends!) are saying "GET TO THE POINT!!" (Smile)

A few weeks later Dimitri & I decided to become 'Official'

How we came to be planning our big day?
Well, It was a lightly rainy day, Wednesday August 1st 2007 when Family & Friends were together at Chris' house... I found Dimitri to be quite tranquil that day quite undisturbed... But again I didn't think too much of it seeing that he was the 'cook' for the day (the man at the BBQ grill) and perhaps simply busy... anyways...
Lunging forward yet again -
Dimitri & I were walking on the beach that evening and were actually trying to get back to the house to avoid the rain... Or so I thought! In fact Dimitri was trying for us to get caught so that he could pop the big question before being in the company of others again! (Creating the perfect moment)... I'll speak of myself in the third person hereon-
Tammy yells to Dimitri! "We're BOTH athletes!" Lets run so we can get back in time! (Dimitri had earlier expressed not wanting to get caught in the rain)... So Tammy's now SPRINTING down the beach with Dimitri trailing behind... Till he yelled to her "Honey wait! I can't keep up!" To which Tammy responded with "we're soon there!" Only to look back and see Dimitri bending over (not on one knee) 'panting' (another part of the perfect moment set up) Tammy then stopped and went over to him asking "baby are you okay?" he basically said Yes! (going down to one knee) Will You Marry Me???!!!!!!!!! The Rain is Now Falling!!!!!!!!!!!! It was Absolutely BEAUTIFUL, SPECIAL & PERFECT! Dimitri then continued to say how much he loved Tammy and Never heard her first response YES! So she reiterated!!!! YES BABY! YES!
